If recent press reports are to be believed, only a month left to launch the much awaited Mahindra Global Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) - Mahindra W201. Unconfirmed reports claim that the company is ready to launch SUV in Indian market W201 September 26, 2011. Indian auto giant has already told dealers ready to launch an SUV in the country.

W201 is a self-supporting structure for a vehicle that is powered by a transversely mounted engine driving the front wheel. SUV was arrested outside the eye is blessed with a grid Mahindra curve, rising beltline and swept back headlights fascinating.

The use of a transversely placed 2.2-liter engine mHawk heart, the van develops a maximum power of 140 hp with maximum torque of 32.6kgm. A more potent twin-turbo version of this SUV is slated to be released with maximum power to 170 hp.
Being a world-class SUV, the new W201 Mahindra be blessed by a number of off-road new era of performance enhancement features, including the likes of traction control, Hill Descent Control and ESP.

The new SUV is placed on the model of Scorpio in the portfolio of Mahindra in the price range of Rs 14.11 lakh. However, the company has not revealed details of features, specifications and vehicle price.
