Wayne Rooney reveals hair transplant

WAYNE Rooney reveals his £10,000 hair transplant yesterday before heading off on holiday.

The Manchester United striker looked bruised and bloodied in a snap he took of himself on the way to the city's airport.

And he was hiding his new thatch under a baseball cap when he checked in.

The Sun revealed on Saturday how the 25-year-old England star had two days of treatment at the exclusive Queen Anne Street Medical Centre in central London

He immediately confessed to his 770,000 Twitter followers: "I've had a hair transplant. I'm delighted."

Now he has posted the photo - with the misspelled message: "Hi all there's my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody to. But that's all normal."

United pal Rio Ferdinand, 32, replied with a joke about vain former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

He wrote: "Can't wait to see you in the mirror after training styling your locks with loads a products ala Ronaldo!"

Rooney answered: "Haha, few months until that."

The star then flew with wife Coleen, 25, and two-year-old son Kai for a break in Barbados.
